That was too hot! Definitely should have got my butt out of bed earlier! 14km completed with the last 4km as a walk run. (I’ll take it as a good fat burner!)
Kudos to Noah who joined David on his bike and cycled with me! It was pretty cool having my own cheer team all the way round 😊
I think David is pretty chuffed with his new bike too!

I am approaching middle age with my husband and we have a gorgeous son and slightly bonkers boxer dog. I love running, even though I am clearly not built for it. Running helps me download from being a headteacher of a primary school and keeps me thinking about my next challenge! I am by no means an expert runner or qualified to offer advice. I simply wanted to share my experience of building up to my first Marathon, hopefully reassuring others and maybe even inspiring one or two along the way!
